Using the Grouped View (Event Groups)
How to use the Grouped View to browse audit records by event type.

The Grouped View organizes audit records into event categories, giving you a high-level summary of all activity.

Columns displayed:

  • Group — The event type (e.g., Update, Create, User Access via Web, Delete, Activate, Share, Assign, Associate Entities, Deactivate, Modify Share, etc.)
  • Changed Date — The date range of events in this group (sortable)
  • Changed By — The users who performed these operations
  • Record — The type of record affected
  • Entity — The Dataverse entity involved
  • Operation — The operation category

Each group shows the event type name with the total record count in parentheses, and an expand arrow to drill down into individual records within the group.

You can add row groups by dragging column headers to the "Drag here to set row groups" area at the top to create hierarchical views.
