Filtering and Searching Audit Records
How to filter and search audit records in the Log View.

EaseLog provides powerful filtering capabilities to help you find specific audit records.

Column Filters:

  1. Click the filter icon on any column header to open the filter panel
  2. The panel slides out on the right side of the screen
  3. Use checkboxes to select or deselect specific values
  4. A search box within the filter lets you find specific values quickly
  5. Filters that load dynamic values show a "Loading..." indicator while populating

Available filter columns:

  • Changed Date
  • Event
  • Changed By
  • Record
  • Entity
  • Operation

Search:

Use the global search bar at the top of the page to search across all audit record fields simultaneously.

Tips for effective filtering:

  • Combine multiple column filters to narrow down results (e.g., filter by Event = "Delete" AND Entity = "Account")
  • Use the date filter to focus on specific time periods
  • Filter by "Changed By" to investigate a specific user's activity
