EaseLog moves your Dynamics 365 audit data out of Dataverse, keeps it in EaseLog's own storage, and gives you fast tools to read it.
The problem it solves
Dataverse records a great deal about who did what, and that record is valuable the moment somebody needs it. It is also awkward to live with.
- Audit data consumes Dataverse log capacity, which is expensive.
- Retention is limited by that capacity, so history gets aged out.
- The native audit view is slow to search across records.
The result is that organisations often hold less audit history than they would like, and struggle to search what they do hold.
What EaseLog does about it
Offloads Audit data is copied out of Dataverse on a schedule you set. Retains History is kept independently of Dataverse log capacity, within the storage allocation of your plan. Reveals A fast grid searches, filters and groups across large volumes, with dashboards over the top.

How long is data kept
Your audit history stays in EaseLog for as long as your storage allocation holds it. Retention is no longer tied to Dataverse log capacity, which is usually the constraint that forces history to be discarded.

What it does not do
Worth being clear, because it is a common misunderstanding.
EaseLog reports on your audit data. It does not create it. Dynamics 365 does the auditing, according to your Dataverse audit settings. If auditing is switched off for an entity, there is nothing for EaseLog to collect, and no way to recover that period later.
Nor does EaseLog change anything in Dynamics 365. Your records, users and settings are untouched.
